Now more than ever in this Age of Information it is critical that we teach students appropriate researching skills so they can get exercise their skills and critical thinking in discerning accurate information from erroneous information. I wouldn't take a paper that is entirely based on a Wikipedia article. I don't discourage the use of wikipedia. I find it is a useful way to gather quick (as their name implies, wiki) knowledge on a particular subject. Perhaps students could use it as a startup point rather than as their ultimate source of knowledge. Do you find this valuable?
